At the heart of our work is a simple mission: helping people find home—whether that’s through a dream kitchen, a new zip code, or the perfect Lowcountry porch.
We’re Josephine and Gastón Oría, a husband-and-wife real estate team with deep roots in food, family, and heritage. Today, we specialize in luxury real estate and relocation services throughout Charleston and the surrounding islands—including Mount Pleasant, Isle of Palms, Sullivan’s Island, Daniel Island, James Island, Kiawah, Edisto, and beyond. As longtime entrepreneurs, seasoned negotiators, and parents of five, we know how personal finding the right home truly is—and we treat each client’s move like it’s our own.
Our journey began in the kitchen, when we launched La Dorita, our small-batch dulce de leche brand inspired by my Argentine abuela. That love for flavor and family grew into La Dorita Cooks, Pittsburgh’s first culinary incubator. And while we’ve traded stainless steel for Lowcountry porches, our real estate work is guided by the same values: connection, trust, and helping others plant meaningful roots.

With a background as CFO of a national medical company, I (Josephine) bring strategic, high-volume experience and skilled negotiation to every transaction. I’m also a proud HGTV addict and self-professed house hunter who knows Charleston like a local—because this has always felt like home. From relocation to investment, Gastón and I work together to ensure our clients feel confident, cared for, and truly seen.
When I’m not showing homes or closing deals, I’m writing. I’m the author of Sobremesa: A Memoir of Food and Love in Thirteen Courses and Dulce de Leche: Recipes, Stories & Sweet Traditions—books that explore identity, family, and the Argentine tradition of sobremesa, or lingering at the table long after the meal is done. My latest project, The Reluctant Crowning of Delfina del Campo, is a Charleston-set upper middle grade novel filled with food, family, and just a touch of magic.
Whether you’re relocating across town or across the country, we’re here to guide you—heart first, always. Because for us, real estate isn’t just about property. It’s about people, stories, and the places where life unfolds.
